  slot options for Decklink HD Extreme

  I have a Mac Pro 2 X 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon. It is about 3 years old.

  Currently, I have my Blackmagic Decklink HD Extreme in slot 4 (top slot). My display card is in slot 1 (bottom slot). I want to install two eSATA cards (Lycom eSATA-4E) and was told by the reseller that these cards should only go in slots 3 & 4.

  Is it okay if I move my BM card to slot 2?
