    I’ll edit on a Mac.
    I’ll edit on XP.
I’ll edit on a lava lamp if you’ll let me.

    Give it a few years,
    It’ll be da bomb.
Avid and Final Cut on your new Palm!

    Longhorn’s past due.
    But I don’t poo poo.
There’s much too much I need to do.

    Mac is cute,
    And runs like butter.
It’s on what I learned to be a cutter.

    PC is everywhere.
    It’s far and wide.
It’s kinda hard to get the media inside.

    Converting that,
    Into this.
Creativity sacrificed for an engineer’s bliss.

    But the software is EVERYWHERE,
    Which is sooooo nice.
And you can pick from 100 mice!

    So, I accept.
    And I push on.
Got no time to dwell upon.

    And then there’s Mac.
    The Computer Fruit.
That sometimes makes ya wanna puke.

    It breeds from it
    A fanatical flock.
That lives to compare, and loves to mock.

    But ya’know, they’re right?
    It really does work!
So who really cares that Steve’s a jerk?

    Super fast,
    Smooth and sleek,
Geez, am I this much of a geek?

    Got a new G5,
    With loads inside.
Damn, look at that – Apple just dropped the price on it again, those mO74rf*

    Pixel,
Put some Acid tracks behind that and post it on a website with a sponsor and you’ll make at least $100. 😉

Seriously – it’s very funny! I’d love to hear it with some background tracks.

Once while editing a long-form video,
I needed an effect from my long dead ADO.
So I rendered my file from my Media 100i,
And transferred it to my ftp site on high.
Downloading to my PC was a snap,
And Adobe Premiere rotated my clip…just like that.
Just to be different, I burned a CD,
Of my new Quicktime file easy as can be.
I loaded the new movie back into my Mac,
And rendered it out on the video track.
The client was happy, her worries were gone,
And she never even asked me what machine I did it on.
So to quote Pixel Monkey, as my co-worker smirks,
Who cares how you do it, s’long az it werks!

Thanks for the inspiration. I think we may have an LP on our hands.
Should we post this thread in an audio forum? 🙂
