SloMo frame rate
I seem to recall reading somewhere that there is an optimal frame rate (optimal in the sense that it looks the best/cleanest/smoothest in playack) to use when slowing a clip in FCP, e.g. 50% or 66%. Does anyone know this or am I just misremembering?

You could do a search and find out, but I think I remember that it had to do with thirds.
Searching should answer your question though.
