    We’re planning a shoot in a few weeks with a Varicam and the Pro-35/Primes. We will be shooting 59.94 fps for slo-mo. Three questions…

    1. Will we be able to play that footage back in the field on our HD monitor?

    2. As I understand it, FCP will capture that frame rate, though our final output will be SD broadcast Beta SP after some After Effects work. What workflow would you suggest?

    3. Any advice about just capturing to 2nd internal SATA drive through Firewire (non-native HD) to save on drive space and G5 performance rather than uncompressed 10 bit HD?

    Never used the Pro-35 adapter.

    1) For on location realtime playback of 60p footage you need the Panasonic Frame Rate Converter or a HD capable G5 with FCP 4.5 or 5.
