Slipping sync by one feild
I’m wondering if its possible to slip sync in FCP 4.5 by one field? My problem is that I’ve had some SD footage up-resed to 1080i, which has put the vision out of sync by one field only.

You’ll have to eyeball it, just double click your mix tracks, hold down shift in the source window, and you can subframe edit your audio and set a new IN point.
but honestly, by the time anything airs, 1 field here or there won’t make any difference in sync.

I agree with Charlie here on both items…
a) Subframe audio slipping
b) most people don’t notice a problem until *3 frames* out of sync…With that being said, are you sure your monitoring FCP correctly? If you’re monitoring the footage @ the NTSC monitor…pipe your audio through there (and not through FCP on your computer.)
