slipping 900 edits 1 frame?
conforming a feature length project in HD.
Now that I’ve got everything loaded, I found out when they captured dailies (720, 23.98, prores) from HDCAM their timecode was 1 frame off. Hence all my clips are 1 frame out of sync.
Last time this happened I manually rolled each edit. Easy enough, took a couple hours. Any thoughts on how to automate the process?
Seems like FCP only lets you group highlight and slip no more than 10-15 clips at a time.

Sometimes you can fudge a frame and it slides under the rader, but this is partly a rock show – when the drummer is off 1 frame, it sticks out. to boot the offline was done at 23.98 so there’s no good excuse for not having a perfectly synced online.
it ended up only take 1.5 hours to roll the clips by hand. perhaps I could have changed the capture offset in Kona…. but I don’t like messing with the ballistics once they’ve been calibrated.
