I have been asked to output and compress a timeline to a .wmv file, including “chapter markers.”

Here’s my question; do markers from the FCP timeline encode with a .wmv? I’m using the
Flip4mac encoder. I know markers carry over into DVDSP, but I’ve never heard of this…

    Any help would be appreciated…

Sorry about the stupid title the first time 🙂

But the query remains; if I include FCP markers in a timeline and export
using Flip4Mac WMV encoder, will those markers be able to be read by someone
using that file on a streaming server? They apparently want to encode the one long timeline, then use these marks to jump around..
