    Hi –

I work for a small, but very busy place, and we have yet to nail a scheduling app that really appeals to us. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion. It could be either an app that runs locally, or an Internet-based solution.

    Thanks for any advie.

Something more powerful than iCal? Try doing a search on freshmeat.net

    Hi –

iCal comes close, but I’d love a cross-platform compatible solution, as well as one that allows categories to get their own colors, etc…which (from what I know) doesn’t work within iCal.

I will check out the link.

    Thanks!

There is always “Farmers Wife” or “Frames Daughter”, but then you’re talking some major investments. I must say iCal is nice and all but is really really bad for large-scale stuff, or even for people monitoring many things. Still, I haven’t found a good secondary solution. Strange really.

if iCal comes close for you try NOW Software’s Up To Date (www.nowsoftware.com) we use it and it works great for us. Cross platform / syncable with a server / very easy to use, but powerful
