  Sliding letters into each other

  Hey guys,

  hopefully you can help me.
  I’m trying to animate a word so that the first letter stays where it is. The rest of the word is supposed to slide together so they all sit on top of each other and then merge into a new letter.
  I tried sliding them together with the “Enable per Character 3D” and the by adjusting the Position. However I’m not able to let them slide into the space of one character.
  So far I could only slide them on top of several letters.

  Any help would be appreciated
