Slideshow Creation in Premiere
Hello!
My question: Is it possible to bring photos into Premiere, and then extract the caption info and place it underneath the photo, automatically?
I’ve tried to create an action in Photoshop that would resize the image and place the caption below the image, but alas, I can’t get it to work. I need to be able to apply this action to numerous photos (up to 100) that will be included in a slideshow.
I’ve looking into XMP metadata support with Premiere Pro, but haven’t found much.

I truly can’t thank you enough. You have solved a problem for me that I’ve been wrestling with for some time. This will allow the photographers I work with to more easily make photo slideshows, that we can edit in Premiere. Thanks again!

One more question concerning this plugin…Is is possible to remove the ‘Description:’ tag, so it only prints the caption?

What field are you using to create the caption ?
I was using the filename, since that was all I needed; I used a third party software to remove the underscores and extension prior.

I use the description field in fileinfo, which begins each caption as ‘Description:’ followed by the caption information. Not terrible, though I would prefer that it does not appear.
