Slideshow ala Encore in Premiere
I’m using CS3 Production Premium and I want to create a slideshow using the great Pan&Zoom feature in Encore and then bring it into either Premiere or After Effects to include it in the video I’m creating.
Is this possible? Can I render out an AVI or mov of the slideshow from Encore?
Alternatively is there a way to easily (automatically?) create the same Pan&Zoom treatment in either Premiere or After Effects?

No, and No.
Encore won’t export to something worth editing and Premiere Pro doesn’t do automated slideshows. There are products designed to do such things, like Imaginate from Canopus.

The other post got sent by itself somehow when I left the room to get a bottle of water and answered the phone.
What I was going to add was, why not create your video in Ppro with the aim of adding a slideshow created in encore when you go to author your dvd(if thats what your ultimate product is going to be on) -

It seems silly that Encore can’t output to anything other than DVD or Flash. Its automated slideshow is brilliant. Perhaps next version???
I’ll have a look at Imaginate. I really need to be able to comp the the slideshow with other stuff in Premiere.
