I was looking to have a slideshow and a song playing on my website front page with about 6 photos. I was wondering what is the best way to do that. I would like that first photo to pop up quickly, I don’t want to wait for all 6 to load. Should I use flash for this?

you can do this with javascript – “quickly” is always sorta relative, but you can do preloaders to get a lot of them…
try googling up “javascript slideshow” to see some examples…
