    Hi Andy

Sorry mate, but I think a clarification is required here: this photo wasn’t scanned at 72dpi
    — it’s attributes are now SET TO 72dpi.

Think about it, as you say:
    25.5 Inches wide x 17.056 Inches high and resolution 72 pixels/inch
    — A slide that is 25.5 inches wide??? Man that’s HUGE!!!

The best way to work out the dpi at which it was scanned is to do this:
    1. Measure the width of the original slide (eg. 1.8 inches)
    2. Divide horiz res (ie. 1818 px ) by horiz width (in inches)
    — that gives you true dpi (in my example, 1818

Peter I was just reading the PS7 image information. Costco said they scan at a minimum of 300 dpi. Beats me. I know it just looks pretty good how ever they scan it.
