Sorry mate, but I think a clarification is required here: this photo wasn’t scanned at 72dpi
— it’s attributes are now SET TO 72dpi.Think about it, as you say:
25.5 Inches wide x 17.056 Inches high and resolution 72 pixels/inch
— A slide that is 25.5 inches wide??? Man that’s HUGE!!!The best way to work out the dpi at which it was scanned is to do this:
1. Measure the width of the original slide (eg. 1.8 inches)
2. Divide horiz res (ie. 1818 px ) by horiz width (in inches)
— that gives you true dpi (in my example, 1818 -

May 29, 2005 at 2:16 amPeter I was just reading the PS7 image information. Costco said they scan at a minimum of 300 dpi. Beats me. I know it just looks pretty good how ever they scan it.
