Hi there, I want to produce a slide show (about 100 frames)in Vegas Pro 8 and I have to ‘Match Output Aspect’ on each slide. Can this be done globally? In the past I’ve slavishly made the change on each frame individually and this is so dumb I figure there must be a way to make the change for all files in one action.
    Thank you in advance.

Click on the first slide, get it set up the way you want and copy it (Ctrl+C).
Click the next one, right-click and choose “Select Events to End”, right-click again and choose “Paste Event Attributes”.
    You’re done!!
Be advised that any images that are in Portrait mode will be cropped in the centre and will have to be adjusted accordingly.

Still having problems with slideshow in Vegas 8 Pro. I have the “Auto Crossfades’ button on but when I drop multiple slides onto the time line they won’t crossfade – they just sit in line. I have Preferences/Editing set at 5.00 seconds for ‘New Still Image Length’ and 2.00 seconds for ‘Cut to Overlap Conversion’ (crossfade length???) but can’t get slides to auto crossfade when dropped to time line. What am I missing here? Thanks for any help. Bob

Is the Automatically overlap multiple selected media when added option in Options – Prefs -Editing enabled?

No, that option was not checked. Did so and now works perfectly. Thanks again Mike, your assistance is appreciated. Bob
