  slices to swf

  Hi,

  I have created a map image in Illustrator that I have slided into six parts for use in Flash to create an unfolding map. My problem is that when I Save for web… the slices to swf they seem to save fine, but when i pull them into Flash all the artwork outside the slice appears. Again, the actual swf file when i view it looks fine (by fine i mean the rectangle slice is all that appears) but when I bring the swf file into Flash, anything that was outside the slice lines in Illustrator seem to have been saved, so i don’t get a clean rectangle cut, i get the sliced area plus any lines and objects that happen to be sitting on the cut line.

  Any thoughts?
