    Hi,
I’m using Sketch and Toon on a scene, and it’s looking good. I have several objects that are simple planes with alpha channels. When I render with S&T, it outlines the entire plane, and fills the transparent area with black. Is there any way to fix this easilly?

You should be able to fix it by going into Effects>Sketch & Toon>Shading and turning off object shading.

    Adam,
As usual thank for your helpful posts…..
Let’s say I want the object to have the shading. Anyway around this. I know I can import the original spline, and create a surface, but that might take a while..

    Hi Michael,
    I don’t understand the question. 🙂

If I turn off object shading, the object is shaded as it’s textured. I want it to have the cartoon shading that sketch and toon is applying, only not to the areas outside the alpha channel.

I think I get it now. That doesn’t seem possible with the Effects>Shading, but you should be able to get something you like using the Sketch>Cel material.
