I will be doing a broadcast later in the week. We are having a final cut pro meeting and I will be broadcasting it. So we will have an out of town Skype call addressing our meeting. I will connect that users computer via Desktop Presenter.

So my question is, since the other laptop needs to feed audio to our audience, how do I insert the skype window in wirecast so I get the audio to broadcast. Here is how my normal broadcast will work.

Wireless mics into my Z-1 which goes into my MBP via fiewire. Broadcast set up in Wirecast using Z-1 video and audio as shots. Switch to desktop presenter with skype. My desktop presenter shot is assigned soundflower audio. So when either both video shots are active, both audios are active.

Can soundflower work this way? We need the audio from skype to be available to the audience as well as to my wirecast session.

SoundFlower comes with SoundFlowerBed. Make sure you run that too. SoundFlowerBed allows you to send the sound to one of the computer’s audio outputs. External Monitor Out would allow you to send the video out of the GPU to something else like a projector.
