Sky from afternoon until night
Hi folks,
I need to recreate a sky from just before the sun sets until nighttime going through all the stages blue to yellow – orange – purple – night.
One option is to stitch together stock footage, however the tricky things is that my footage needs to play over the course of a few hours. My fallback plan is to buy stock clips of each of those timeframes and loop them.
My first choice however would be to create it from scratch using some type of sky generator plug in. The problem is that I cannot find such a plug in.
Any suggestions?

I already thought of that one… problem is that skies where I live aren’t all that dramatic. Plus time lapses by their nature are sped up, where as I need slow. About 2 hours.. so more or less real time.

Playback is not an issue. I work with some event producers who have all that gear.
I’m exploring the ‘Physical Sky’ element in C4D.. but I’m having a bit of trouble since I am not all that comfortable in C4D.
