Skipping Render
Got a big project with deadline. I am rendering a 45 second clip for each category in a nominations thing. It has the title appear, then go to the top right corner, then each picture appears, comes at camera, then goes away and goes to proper place. That’s it. I rendered the first one and it’s fine. I copied the motions to the next ones and did about 12 more. Come to find that every single one, except the first one, skips when it plays. Say your watching the title move. Instead of moving smoothly, it’s like it’s riding on a bumpy rocky road. The whole 45 second clip is like this. However, If I play the rendered version in Premiere Pro, it works perfectly fine. I have tried playing it in different media players to no avail. I even rendered it and played it on a different computer. My computer has never had this problem, I’ve rendered much larger projects without this happening. I have about 7 gigs of space left on my hdd, if that matters. PLEASE HELP A.S.A.P.

What is your export process?
Are you exporting each nomination sequence individually?

Yes. I do them one at a time. I export what is under the work bar in DV format. The first one I did worked for some reason, then everyone after that is messed up. I thought it may have been because I copied the keyframes, since I was going to use the first one as a template, but I made a whole new one in a new project and still got the skipping render. I rendered something from another project, which is just video of me and a friend, and it rendered fine.

Sounds like the hardware is not keeping up. My full rendered alpha + RGB video skips all the time when I play it back. My hardware can not play a clip that is 500mb for a 10 sec. clip. However, when I play beack regular avi dv clips, it does fine.
