    Smart Blur can work if you get the right numbers. M and Y equal or within 2 pts, Cyan a 1/3 of M for caucasion. Filters work best when the proper CMYK %’s are good.

    Also, try just applying whatever technique on just the yellow and magenta channels. Or R and G if in RGB.

    Sometimes working on a channel instead of all of them at once can yield good results.
