is the only way to skew a video (so one edge is taller than the other) to make is 3d then rotate it on the axis????

Or is there any other way?

I want to give the video some depth in perspective.

you can fake the 3d by using the corner pin effect on the video layer and manipulate each corner pin.

or, you can make the layer a 3d layer and use the layer’s rotation controls to rotate it on the x, y or z axis.
