Sketch & Toon & Hatch shader
Hi, been on C4d for 8 years so I know my way around BUT… What is up w/ sketch & Toon hatch shader? I cannot get it to interact with lights or shadows all I can produce is a nice flat hatch pattern on the object. Yes, I press all the buttons and did several varations on the grey scale sliders for illumination and shadows (and everything else) with no apparent results. And yes, I even tried it wit the effects settings in the render controls too. Any suggestions would be helpful

What do you mean? I get shadows on objects with the Hatch shader in the color channel. Do you mean something else?

Thanks for your reply but, I found the error. I was trying to apply the hatch shader to a sketch material. Interesting results but not what I wanted. Applying the Hatch shader to a normal material is, obviously, the right way.
