for some reason, i am following the quickstart for S/T and it says that there should be sketch presets in library/sketch/styles
this is R10 studio that I have

I contacted maxon, but was curious if anyone had this. I am needing to get moving on having this work.
    also?

    – is there a way to have the outline be behind the object?
i guess once I am able to load styles, the thing will make more sense.

also, are there any good resources or would anyone think of doing a tutorial on deeper techniques with S/T than the quickstart/manual/adam watkins?
    thanks

Maybe Cineversity has something on it, but S&T isn’t that well covered tutorial wise. For your lines to show up, you need to assign 3 separate materials for each line type in your S&T style tag – one for default lines and one for hidden lines. Yoiu may also need to change your render settings accordingly. However, on not so rare occasions your hidden lines will not show up, no matter what. This is a problem that has been there from the start can only be solved by compositing later.

    thanks
its making more sense now that i understood that the quickstart

ma having a hard time making a display tag visibility animate from 0 to 100. that sounds simple but whenever i change a value at a different point in time, after laying a keyframe elsewhere at 100, whatever i set it to, both keyframes go to that value…
