  Size Reduction

  I’m editing in FCP 6 and am trying to export a project as a smaller frame size, but the image gets VERY soft when I do. Original footage/frame size is HDV (1440x1080i), and I’ve exported the finished project as a Pro Res QT file. That file is good.

  In a new sequence, I changed the dimensions to 360 x 270 (hdv aspect ratio) and imported the file. The file is reduced to 25% and looks fine until rendered. The titles & image get quite blurry & soft after the render. I just want to get this HDV project out at 25% size, but obviously there is something very wrong I’m doing. ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated!
