Hi I’m looking for visual examples for my students to show them a one shot clip that has “natural” transitions when crossing a room to another. Like when the actor goes from one room into another and the “cut” is as the camera crosses the wall from one side to the other, parallel to the actor and the scene. I have seen many times and the are ads and music videos using this technique but I can’t find any examples on google. If anyone has some links it would be really appreciated. Thanks!

“Tucker, the man and his dream” has these and many more classic edit techniques.

Hitchcock’s The Rope has interesting “natural” concealed cuts — 1 for each reel change. To reinforce the illusion that the film is one continuous take. You have to look closely for them.
