Single particle?
This may sound like a noobish question, but that’s because I am a noob when it comes to After Effects. For a uni project I have to make It look like the moon is crying. I think the best way to achieve this would be using cc particle system (can’t afford trapcode sadly), and I want to make a single particle fall repeatedly from the top to the bottom, rather than have heaps of particles randomly spawning from different points. If that makes sense. How would I go about this?

Even better than moving the layer is to use the loopOut expression. Here’s a video that will teach you all about it.
