single event as a 3d object
Hi all,
I am trying to bring a few stills into the timeline on vegas 9 as 3d objects – there are jpegs, and i’d like to bring them into view (perhaps with a small rotation) and then shot off screen again etc….
I have figured out 3d alpha and track motion – but don want to effect the whole track, just the single picture (event).
Any help greatly received.

Why not just using this effect on its own track?
if you really don’t wanna do that, you can use keyframes to bring everything back to the begin situation. The easiest way to do that is by copying the first key, which is present before you start and paste it somewhere on the timeline of the trackmotion window at the position where you want your effect to be normal again. However, you can not make the track a source alpha track again without losing your 3D effect.
Another way to have everything on one track: Create a new project where you perform the 3D effect and import this .veg file on the timeline of your main project. Then you will have everything on 1 track.
