If you want to sync them, put timecode on one of the audio tracks.
(that’s the most speedy way of working.)hth,

December 28, 2012 at 8:27 amIs it possible to put timecode to an audio track of Canon 5D Mark II? You have to be connected to a DSLR constantly yes or a genlock is enough?
Thanks for explaining.

December 28, 2012 at 8:17 pmYou cannot genlock these cams, but you can record TC on an audio track.
(LTC is an audio signal, make sure you get the right attenuation, as it is LOUD normally)
So you need at least a couple of seconds of TC at the start of each shot.
This can be done using a Mp3 player or iphone / pod with Jumpstart.
If you have an Avid, it can read the TC from the audio track.
Otherwise you need my FCPauxTC reader (don’t let the name fool you, it works for any NLE)hth,
