Simulating handheld camera!

And David, maybe the seen is already shot or maybe it’s a green screen shot and you want to “shake” both foreground and background simultaneously to improve the live feeling.
I’ve tried some motion editing in FCP, but it always ends up quite static.

August 28, 2005 at 6:44 pmTry using the motion stabilize filter on a handheld shot then apply the keyframes that are generated to the shot you want to shake. You’ll need to scale the size of the frame up a little to cover up the ratty edges.
