Hello all, I’m trying to create an 80s VHS tape effect, I’ve got most of it down however I’ve had problems with reducing colour resolution, which is what causes that colour bleed effect with reds and some blues offset from the image/bleeding over sort of like in this picture I found to demonstrate:

I’ve been able to have a bit of luck using Gaussian blur on red & blue channels which does create the effect I want, however it also makes the video output extremely blurry. Is there a better way to do this?

I’m also using BCC Prism to simulate a bit of chromatic abberation.

I would try reducing saturation somewhat to reduce the bleed.
