What is the best way to create a typewriter text where each text appear either on keyframe or timed intervals?

I could get this to work use say 3 text generators (to show a 3 letter word) and align with audio beats.

I have tried Fade in and Typewriter but you can not adjust the speed each text appears precisely.

Using keyframes + crop also works (i.e. show character one by one) but again, I am unsure if this is the best way…

My suggestion would be to build this as a motion template and make it available in FCP. You can build it very efficiently in motion and have it at your disposal all the time in FCP.

I’m not sure people have quite realized how much potential there is with the motion FCP x combo.
