simple video mixer for portable use…
Hi,
I was wondering if there are some relatively cheap yet functional video switchers that you would recommend for using on the road in a smaller setting. We have one we use in our production booth, but have began to do some smaller projects on the road where it would be nice to use a small mixer. We used a switcher for our last project, but would like to add some more capabilities. Basically we would need a mixer that has 4 camera inputs and has the ability to do simple cuts and dissolves. If it could be rack mountable, that would be a plus but is not critical. Any recommendations? Thanks,

B&H also shows an Edirol video switcher for under a grand; if it’s clean, this would be a bargain.
