simple shine effect without 3rd party plugins??
Hey y’all
I have been playing around in flash and i have made a few easy shine effects by using masks and gradients.
Used this tutorial to get me going:

Not sure what you are getting at… Light sweeps have always been created this way befor someone decided to code them as a plugin. The only difference is that you create the masks on a separate layer from the gradient. You use the masked layer as a matte and then move the gradient below it.
