    Hi all,

    I’m totally new to the use of expressions … I am looking for a simple way to scale a layer between 90% and 110% and back (looped) pretty slowly. I seems so simple yet I’m stuck, even searching this site and the web… hope someone can find the time to help me out. Would be much appreciated!

    thnx in advance

    Something like this should do the trick:

    freq = 1; // cycles per second
    amp = 10; // variation in scale
    factor = 1 + amp*Math.sin(time*freq*Math.PI*2)/100;
    value*factor

    hey dan, how come one wouldnt just use a loopOut pingpong expression on this?

    You could. Of course you’d have to keyframe the first cycle. I’d do it with no keyframes but that’s just me. 🙂
