    How do i get the little pop up window in my timeline when i select a clip.

    sometimes it pops up sometimes it does not. drives me crazy. what is the way to trigger it.
    What does this symbol mean?

    At the head of every clip in the timeline is a badge that looks like two arrows with a little popup triangle next to it. Click the badge and that popup menu appears.

    The second symbol appears in the project library and in the timeline. It indicates that the project has been shared/exported. That’s what the radiating curves indicate. When you see it as here with the exclamation triangle, that means the project has been altered since it was output.
