okay, this seems to happen at random but when I create a new primitive object, I’d like to use those special handle points to scale/distort the object. However, sometimes they are inactive and I’m unable to use these points to change the object’s shape. Or in the case of a cube, it often lets me use the scaling points on the x and y axis, but clicking and dragging on the z axis scaler doesnt do anything.

Any ideas? I’m guessing its ridiculously simple and I don’t know why I haven’t asked this before.

    Thanks in advance, Eugene

In my experience it’s usually a result of trying to grab a handle in an orthographic viewport where the movement would be perpendicular to the view plane. For some reason Cinema won’t let you do that. The solution is to use the perspective view, or a different orthographic view.
