Simple, portable audio for live and Zoom meetings
I know there are systems to accomplish what I am trying to achieve, but I need SUPER simple since I am not always the person running our “tech”. (Think, your dad needs to set it up.) It’s easy to send audio to Zoom or a speaker system, but how do we easily get audio in/out of the computer/Zoom at the same time?
I’m a member of a small group that meets in person with some joining via Zoom. Our typical meeting is setup like this:
– Zoom camera feeds my laptop, which connects to the Zoom meeting. The in-person presenter shares with group and Zoom.
– Portable audio system has handheld mic for sound support in room, but to feed Zoom, we have a separate USB lav mic. Can this be streamlined?
– Headphone out of laptop feeds the speaker system Aux input so Zoom participants can ask questions and we can hear them in the room. This also helps if our speaker is remote and presenting via Zoom.
