Simple Paint question.
This is pretty simple, i just dont know it. I am going thru an after effects book ( after effects hot 6.0) I have after effects 7. Most of the lessons have been super easy to follow along, just because the lay out has been pretty much the same. I am on the paint chapter. Basically your spose to paint something ( did it) it disappears and then you click on the write on tab. This tab is not in the same place in 6.0 as it was in 7.0. I have no clue where it is. If someone could tell me where this tab is so you can get the paint to appear that would be great.

The Write On option is in the same place in AE 6.0 and 7.0- in the Duration drop-down menu in the Paint palette.
There is also an effect (not a part of the Paint engine) called Write-on, and it’s location changed between versions. In AE 6.0 it is listed under the Stylize category. In AE 7.0 it is under the Generate category.
