  simple loop in audition

  I’m trying to make a simple loop in adobe audition. I have an entire song open and i want to loop just part of it. In the multi-track mode I used the razor blade tool to clip the beginning and end of the part to be looped. i then right click and select loop from the menu. then When i drag the end of the clip I expected it to repeat in a loop. however its not doing this. I don’t need to save out the loop before it will repeat do I? If this were an intuitive function i would be sold on audition.
