  Simple Keying Rotation… Getting unexpected results

  Hi, hopefully someone can shed some light. I am keying the rotation of some text, but the rotation outcome is different than the movement I am intending.

  My camera is currently rotated on the Z axis 20°, as is my text. The X & Y rotation is 0.

  I am basically attempting to make the text appear to swing down, which I’ve done before.

  I press A and set an end-keyframe, then I go back about 15 frames. Using the 3d-rotation tool, I swing my text upwards, which gives me new rotation angles of 70°,86°,86°.

  I press play, and the animation starts point and end point is fine, but in the middle, the text is at an angle, crooked, not swinging down as intended.
