I have some preset, stock effects applied to my text and i was wondering how to enable and disable the effects throughout the timeline without having to go into each individual stopwatch within the effect and change the numbers…..i just simply want to have the effects pop into play sometimes and then stop at other times…….i tried simply pulling at the head and tail of the clip, but then it changes the timing of the effects within the clip.

    Thanks!

Make two copies of your text layer. One with the preset and one without. Animate the opacity on and off for the two layers. (Make the opacity keyframes hold keyframes to save yourself some time.)
