Simple Effect Not Working
I’ve created a number of effects in Motion 5 to use in FCPX and why the simplest of them all will not work is stumping me.
I created an effect where a red circle draws on and then fades out.
My Motion project consists of:
-Group
–Circle (with First Point Offset keyframe to have the circle write on)
—Fade IN/OUT with only the fade OUT set.I’ve tried putting the fade on the group and on the circle.
And while I can manipulate the offset in the Inspector and set keyframes, on playback it’ll just suddenly appear whole at the point where the offsets complete its circle.
I just want the circle to draw on and fade out. How hard can this be?

I got the write-on to keyframe after restarting the FCPX, but it still should write-on directly by applying my effect that I created in Motion 5.
