Someone can tell how to do this in PP?

Cut many video and/or audio traks between two point (IN and OUT) in the timeline and paste in insert mode in another point in the timeline.

Example: a video with 5 interview with at least 3 video tracks (with picture in picture effect for example). I want to cut (extract) the interview number 4 and paste (insert) it between the interviews 1 and 2.

    Is this possible? Thanks.

Open a new Sequence, drag sequence 1 from the Project Window into the new sequence…use the razor tool to slice the single track sequence and cut/paste as needed.

Do you mean that is not possible to make that cut in the main timeline???

Select all the clips involved by “surrounding them with the mouse cursor. Group them if you want.

Ctrl Drag them to where you want .

    1. I don’t want to split the clips because i want to preserve the transitions/effects keyframe.
    2. I want to select between two points (IN-OUT) and select some video/audio tracks and not others, for these reason i cannot make a nested timeline.
    3. I can’t always drag because sometimes i want to paste in a section of the sequence that is outside the current view of the timeline or paste in another sequence, so i need to make this operations with Windows default keyboard shortcuts: CRTL+C for copy, CTRL+X for cut, CTRL+V for paste (or another keys but with same result).

So is impossible make this simple operation with PP if the tracks involved is more than one?
With the power of Axio and the ability to make compositing with many layers/tracks i think this is a big problem.
I don’t want to make a huge number of sequences. Is incredible that everytime i need to cut and paste (move) a selection that is in more than one track i need to make a nested sequence!!!

    TRY:
Selecting the tracks by targeting them and untargeting the ones you do not want to copy.

Maybe using ‘Lift and Extract’ functions for the in and out points will be helpful.

BTW :I frequently copy multiple clips across multiple tracks and move them to a different place on the same or a different timeline without using a nested sequence. Unfortunately this can have the effect of a Freeze ( Updating Timeline Error) on occassion.
