Simple edge blur, or feathering
Hi,
Wondering if anyone out there knows how to do a simple edge blur or feathering effect to an image that I’ve imported to a Motion project. In Final Cut this would be simple – under the motion tab select Crop and feather away.
I’ve done a little cropping to this image, but there’s got to be an easy way to get this done, besides some several step process involving a mask, etc.
any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Personally, I feel in the amount of time it takes to enable the Crop feature, move every crop slider you can add a rectangle mask and adjust the feather slider in the same amount of time. Plus, if you change your mind you can always add more points to your mask whereas you can’t with the crop tool. Hope this helps and best of luck.Stephen Smith
