Simple color change?
I need to make a video (footage of a game, which is not a solid color) fade out to solid black or white. Opacity doesn’t seem to do it. How do I achieve what I want?

Not quite sure I get what you’re asking, maybe because it seems too simple. Would fading up a black (or white) solid on top of your footage do the trick, or are you looking for a fade in the colors in the footage to solid shapes of black and white?

I guess I can try fading a solid layer on the footage I need, only problem I think is that the video changes its position, so I guess I’ll have to animate the solid as well.

try to keyframe the ‘levels’ effect under ‘color correction’
