Simple button question for DVD Architect
Okay. Feeling pretty dumb. I can’t find this answer anywhere. It may be my newness to DVD Architect.
Can I make a button (an image of text, or real text) that appears “faint” on screen, say light gray, and when selected, can I have it show up dark gray?
I’d really like to have a light and airy interface, with faint text buttons that appear darker and more solid when highlighted. I’m not really keen on the default ways I’ve seen buttons highlight in DVDA, nor on many pro releases as well. I like greater impact to know “for sure” what I’ve got highlighted.
Is that possible? I’ve spent about 90 minutes trying things with text and text images, but I see no way to achieve what seems to me a simple effect. I’m looking for some form of control over the unselected, highlighted, and selected states of the media on the face of a button. Forgive me if these aren’t the industry terms… I’m learning still!
Thank you,
James
P.S. This project will go on hold for a week as I am counseling at a summer camp for kids. Please do reply, however! I will return to it the moment I’m back, and I’ve set my account to alert me to responses, so I will reply to questions and gladly try any tricks or workarounds… even, “the right way”!
