Hi All- I’m going crazy. I cannot make what looks like a simple background in Photoshop. Please see image. Then I need to make those black swishy things move across the screen in AfterEffects. That part shouldn’t be hard. It’s making those swishes that’s killing me. How do I make them? Please help. Thank you!

    Final Cut 7
    Adobe Premiere CC

How many of the curved gradients do you need?

I’d make that part on another, transparent layer over the lightly vignetted background.

Then stack the layer with the curved grad on another track above it (it would work the same in PPro) and repeat as needed.

If this is for ongoing use I’d try to set something up as a seamless loop and stash it in an “elements” directory.
