So i’ve wrapped up picture lock on a live show music video that was shot on multiple dslrs, and now it comes time for the part i dread – the sound mix, as most projects i’ve worked on prior only had a channel or two of audio.

I essentially have three tracks to work from – vocals, guitar and drums – none of which are completely clean as elements of the other two bleed in.

As this video is intended for a DVD release for the band, the audio is a key player but i have no idea where to start with the audio to get the right blend of each track.

Could anyone point me to (or outline for me) a step by step workflow as to how to blend the audio so that i can get the best mix possible with what i have?

PS – I realize PPro may not be the greatest place to mix tracks, and i do have access to Logic and Audition CS6 though not much experience with an audio editor since CoolEditPro.
