    Hello Folks.

I have a silly question about frame rates which I really should know, but want to double check.

I just got a 100A and wanted to know what the most common interlaced rate is. For example, if I mix with other video footage, should I be shooting at 30i or 60i.
I think 30i but then I started to think about fields vs. frames and thought about it too much and now I am mixed up.

    Thanks
    H

No such thing as 30i. It’s 60i or 30p. I never use 30p because it’s kind of an orphaned format and causes issues in post if you’re trying to go to film for example. Stick with 60i or 24p.

    Thanks for your response.
I purchased the DVX dvd & book but I had that question nagging in my mind that I was doing something wrong with the frame rate. I have been using 60i so I’m happy I’ve been doing it right.

    thanks again!
