Has anyone else tried exporting from Final Cut Pro a DV stream? The funny thing was the other day, things were going fine, but then, all of a sudden, when I export a DV Stream, it will add roughly five minutes of black, creating much bigger file sizes than desired, take longer to export, and be all around annoying. I tried trashing the prefs, but it didn’t work too well. Any one have any other ideas?

    thanks,
    mb

Curious why you’re exporting to DV Stream. For use in iMovie?

    All the best,

Actually, it’s for use with a 360 systems media server. It won’t play back regular DV, but must be DV Stream. It’s either that or MPEG-2 and DV stream is quicker.

I too am having difficulty exporting from FCP to play back on a ImageServer 2000. I want to FTP content from the FCP directly to the 360Systems server. Any advice would be appreciated.
